GOAL OF PROJECT:
The goal of the project is to be a
facilitator for, “Increasing the
effectiveness of the humanitarian assistance
by creating an early warning system which
gives timely signals for improving
coordination and suggest measures for
improving the level of services.”
In this connection an early warning
information system has been designed whose
objective will be to inform various stake
holders about:
The effectiveness of delivery of food and
NFI to camps and host communities.
To identify gaps if any in the provision of
services that will inter alia include
shelter, water and sanitation, hygiene, non
food items, availability of food and
coverage for health protection
To report duplication of efforts in any area
of assistance so that relief is used more
effectively and for the greatest numbers
To report any egregious instances which need
to be rectified so that issue of governance
do not derail the relief efforts. |
